Blog Slacker...

So, I have been a total slacker lately on updating this, but we have had a LOT going on!!! Cannon is doing great, we finally wrapped up t-ball season!!! He is so excited that he got his very first trophy (he carried it around with him the whole next day)!!! He also went swimming for the first time this year, but I think it is going to take a few more times to build his confidence back up to where it was last year!! My cousin Christy and her son (Andrew) and daughter (Hannah) came down for a visit this week and he had an absolute blast playing with them and all the other cousins!!! Kennedy is doing pretty good to...if we could ever get this spitting-up under control we would be great!!! She has figured out that she loves taking naps in her crib!!! Every day she takes 2 two hour naps in her crib...and loves it!! It is probably the only place she can get any good rest thanks to her not so quite big brother!!! Yesterday Kennedy went on her first Canton shopping trip with me, DeeDee, and her Aunt Morgan!!! She was an absolute doll, and did perfect!!! Her and Abbie got the most adorable petticoat skirts yesterday (pictures coming soon). Lately

So last week Kennedy had her two month check up and two month shots. She weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 22 3/4 inches. She is little over a pound bigger then when she was born, and and a little over 3 inches longer! SHe did NOT like her shots a bit, but once they were over with she was fine!!! SHe has been starting to laugh here lately, it is so cute!!! We stick out tongue out at her to try to make her stick hers out, but all she does is smile real big and start cooing!!! SHe has been sleeping extra long during the nights here lately, however, she has really cut back on how much she sleeps during the day!! We had a busy weekend, on Friday me and JT took Cannon to the rodeo with Kim, Taegan, Ashley, Holden, and Kinleigh. They all really enjoyed it, trying to get them to sit still the whole time was well, unsucessful. On Saturday Cannon had a birthday party to go to (Kennedy went too), and he enjoyed getting to play with all his baseball buddies. Cannon is almost done with baseball, he has 3 games left. However, Casey just got him a new golf club, and that seems to be one of his new things!!! He is sooooo excited about getting to go play golf with his daddy and the big boys!!! OHHHH, Kennedy is also rolling over from stomach to back!!! I kept telling JT that she could do it but he didn't believe me, so we had to show him!!!

Mothers Day Weekend!!!

Well, I had another wonderful mothers day, ecspecially with Miss Kennedy here this year!!! My wonderful husband and son got up and cooked a great breakfast, complete with scrambled eggs, blueberry muffins, and toast!!! Later that day we went to Tyler and my mother-in-law kept the kids so me and JT could go to our friend Morgans graduation and out to eat. We spent the night in Tyler with JT's partents so we could get up and go to church with his mom on mothers day!!! Cannon loves staying in Tyler because he gets to play with all his cousins (Kinleigh, Taegan, and Holden). After the stay in Tyler we came back home and went to the ranch to visit my family, and Cannon got to play with his other cousins (Brayden and Abbie). All in all it was a great weekend, Cannon had a blast, Kennedy was just as sweet as ever, and I enjoyed spending time with all the family!!!

Finally Friday!!!

Well, today was FINALLY Friday, and it felt like this week lasted forever!!! Cannon loves Friday's because he knows that his daddy usually doesn't have to work and that we probably have some fun stuff in store for him!! Melissa, the kids, and I went and did some last minute mothers day shopping and took some CUTE pictures of the kiddos!!! Cannon was super excited to get home from Longview because he knew there was something fun waiting for him at home. When we got home we filled up water balloons and me, Cannon, and JT went in the backyard and had a water balloon war, and water balloon toss. It was a BLAST, Cannon loved every minute of it! Later I brought Kennedy outside and we sat on the porch and talked and enjoyed the nice breeze!!! We followed up with fajitas, and are about to pop some popcorn!!! Well, we have a busy weekend ahead of us with it being mothers day, lots of people to see!!!

Back in Business!!!

So, we had a slight computer problem and I wasn't able to get online, but now we are back in business with all our computer problems fixed...I think! Well, I guess I will catch everybody up on what has been going on!!! On May 2 we went to the annual Millville Picnic, which is basically a big family reunion on all the founder and family of founders of Millville Church (which my grandfather helped start a reaLLLLLLy long time ago). Keenedy was the youngest to attend this year! She has really gotten some personality her lately, she is always smiling at her brother, and trying to mimic the noises that her daddy makes. SHe is sleeping so well at night in the cradle beside our bed, but during the day she loves to nap and lay in her crib upstairs in her room. Cannon has been a little upset lately because it has been raining so much his past two t-ball games have been cancelled. His pappy (my dad) caught him a turtle, which he named Tommy turtle. We put him in the back yard, and he has made himself a little home out of a whole he dug by a tree we have. Cannon is getting really excited for summer time to be here. He can't wait to swim and really wants to go back to the beach again with his MeMel, GP, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
